Wikitokyo:Trusted Editors

From Wikitokyo, the unofficial Megatokyo wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Trusted Editors are basically people who have a known history of making beneficial contributions to this wiki. They are trusted in the sense that the administration believes that they are not likely to be destructive to the wiki or the content contained within and may, therefore, be given certain small technical benefits which come from earning that trust. Currently, the only real advantage of becoming a Trusted Editor is the ability to bypass the captcha on certain types of edits, though additional advantages may be added if a need becomes apparent.

It should be noted that while users may view Trusted Editors as having some higher status over the general population, the Administration does not. Decisions to appoint Trusted Editors are made primarily based on whether or not a need exists for that user to become a Trusted Editor combined with whether or not that user can, in fact, be trusted. Opinions of Trusted Editors will not be weighed any more heavily in decisions made by the Administrators than would the opinions of any other user.

Wikitokyo's Trusted Editors include:

  • Rosentredere: Driving force behind keeping the strip pages up to date.

[edit section] Nominate a Trusted Editor

This is the place to nominate users who you feel have made outstanding contributions to this wiki for Trusted Editor status. Nominees should be people who have exhibited a history of contributions of the sort described above; but please keep in mind that being a Trusted Editor is more of a technical advantage than anything, so simply having Trusted Editor status really isn't anything special. Users may nominate themselves.

When making a nomination or commenting on a nomination, please be sure to sign (~~~~) your addition.
