Megatokyo is a webcomic started on August 14, 2000 by Fred Gallagher and Rodney Caston; Caston later left the project. It follows the escapades of Piro, a shy anime fan, and Largo, an arguably insane gamer, in Tokyo.

As of this writing, Megatokyo has over one thousand strips in nine chapters. Strips are released individually, theoretically three times a week, although the schedule can be somewhat erratic. Although the main story strips are released on the megatokyo.com website, they are also published in print form with extras.
